Comedy Drama (Feature)
Tom Bird can’t catch a break. On the verge of winning the World Beatbox series, his deadbeat dad dies and forces Tom to abandon his shot at the title. Selfish bastard. And if that isn’t bad enough, Tom has to get of out Belfast. Fast. Fleeing the vengeance of a Belfast Mobster, Tom stumbles upon his dad’s hidden past. A past that may just save his life.
Bye Bye Blackbird has been developed with the help of NI Screen as one of three winning entries for the NI Screen New Writers Focus (2017-2018). It was showcased by professional actors in front of leading producers and agents on 29th March 2018.

An earlier draft of ‘After Midnight’ made it into the top 17% of the BBC Writersroom Comedy Submission window for 2017, gaining a full read. It has since been re-written following consultations with Hayley McKenzie at Script Angel

Peter Nero has carved out a successful slice of London for his wife Cara and their two children Earl and Pepper. When Peter finds out his parents are no longer able to look after themselves, he makes the difficult decision to move his family to rural Ireland.

Drew, a young male from Belfast, is caught by the police while carrying out a dare from his friends. Drew is thrust into the justice system, changing his life rapidly.
‘No Harm Done?’ Was commissioned by The Youth Justice Agency in association with the Police Service of Northern Ireland. It has been distributed to schools and youth groups throughout the UK and is part of the curriculum at Queens University.
